About this tool
A known subtitle delay, applied consistently.
Cueslide shifts the timestamp endpoints of an existing supported subtitle text by one constant integer number of milliseconds.
It is useful when you already know that every subtitle should be earlier or later by the same amount. The tool keeps each cue's duration and the signed gaps between entered cues unchanged. The parser edits structural timing spans, so words, tag characters and timing-like lines inside subtitle text stay literal.
One focused calculator
This independent website contains one tool with a method guide, worked examples and supporting pages. It is not a caption editor, speech-to-text system, media player or quality certificate. It does not discover alignment from audio, repair drift, convert frame rates, translate, sort cues or edit their wording.
Explicit boundaries
SRT readers vary in what they accept. Cueslide supports a clearly stated subset with sequential counters, fixed comma-millisecond timestamps and a 00–99 hour product range. A rejected variant may work elsewhere. The guide explains all size, text, Unicode, timing and offset limits rather than treating them as a universal standard.
Free use and current settings
No login, payment or upload is required. The calculation runs in the browser. This source release has no active advertising, analytics or consent-platform loader. Any future ad or measurement setup requires matching disclosures and the host's separately verified configuration. Publisher metadata and ads.txt do not prove ad approval or serving. No traffic or earnings are promised.
Reproducible corrections
Use the verified shared public forwarding address if you find a calculation or wording problem. A short invented subtitle example is usually enough to reproduce it. Do not send private subtitle files or media unnecessarily. See worked examples to compare a positive shift, a negative shift and a rejected endpoint.
