The subtitle text is processed locally.

Cueslide parses and shifts the pasted text in your browser. This release does not upload subtitles, request media or send the cue text to a calculation service.

Page state

The input and result are kept in page memory. The code does not save them to cookies, local storage, session storage or a server database. The locally handled form has no controls that serialize the subtitle text into a page request. The script initializes its example on startup. Browser tab restoration, form restoration, history, extensions or device features operate separately and may retain information independently.

Preview and text safety

The shifted text is inserted as literal text, not as HTML or a media caption renderer. Tags and markup-looking content are not executed by the calculator. The supported input must be well-formed Unicode. The browser may normalize pasted line endings before the calculation receives the string; the tool cannot recover an unknown original file encoding from pasted characters.

Clipboard and local downloads

Copy shifted SRT asks the browser to place the complete current output on your system clipboard. Clipboard managers, history features or other software can then retain or access it. If copying is unavailable, a local text area offers the current output for manual copying. Editing clears that fallback. A clipboard request already sent cannot be recalled; a late reply cannot restore stale text in the page.

Save SRT creates a UTF-8 text download of the complete shifted string. An entered leading BOM character is kept; none is added otherwise. Save timing JSON includes every cue's timing notes and model limitations. Your browser chooses how to save files and may record or sync downloads. The tool does not upload those files. Review exported subtitles before sharing them.

Hosting connections

Cloudflare Pages is the intended host. Loading pages or assets makes normal hosting requests that may disclose IP address, request time, URL, browser information and referrer to the provider. Its operational and security logging follow its own policies. Browser-local processing is separate from that connection and does not mean an anonymous hosting request.

Current measurement and advertising

This release contains no active Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon, ad loader or consent-platform loader. Verification metadata and ads.txt identify the intended publisher without loading ads or measuring cue text. Any later host configuration requires accurate updated disclosure and separately verified settings.
